This 40-hour on-demand module, led by Michael James Wong, founder of Just Breathe, offers subtle practices of quiet connection through breathwork, meditation, and deep rest. Awakening Yoga is pleased to present this course, bringing in Just Breathe and Michael James Wong to provide a deep dive into the quintessential quiet practices of Meditation & Breathwork.
These essential practices are designed to support your body, mind, and spirit as well as provide the tools to share confidentially with your students.
Just Breathe uses a comprehensive method of functional, systematic breathwork techniques coupled with a multidisciplinary approach to meditation. Within the course, students are given the tools to construct breathwork and meditation practices using their NSRT - Nervous System Response Techniques. This research-based method utilizes a variety of specific practices to calm the mind, reduce hyper-stimulation, lower stress, and cultivate deep inward attention.
40 hrs of total content:
- 3 x 5hr sessions – prerecorded cohort Zoom lectures (15hrs)
- Resource lectures, techniques library, and practice sequences (25hrs)
- Nine months of access to digital content hosted on AYA

- Three pre-recorded Zoom meetings from our Live-Community version consisting of five hours each
- Access to the growing Awakening Yoga Academy community hub
